Ionian Arts' Policy regarding Out-of-Print Items

"Print-on-Demand" is an authorized photocopy and may not be printed on the same quality paper as the original. Yet because choral octavos are an odd-size (7"x10") it takes extra labor to copy, assemble and trim just a few copies. For that reason, "Print-on-Demand" will likely cost more on a per-copy basis. If you have ordered Print-On-Demand music from other publishers, you will find that the cost per copy is almost double from the original.

On the other hand, a downloadable electronic file will likely cost less because it then becomes the responsibility of the consumer to photocopy and collate the number of copies required. Depending on the number of copies required, we would price the electronic copy accordingly. If normally you would order 35 copies for your choir, we would charge you $35 or $1 per copy for the electronic file for choral octavos from 1-8 pages. The cost is $2/copy for choral octavos with more than 8 pages.
