Ionian Arts, Inc. was founded in 1986. It is our quest to provide a variety of quality resources to meet the needs of church musicians in the form of music, recordings, graphics, and reference materials. We have taken for our namesake the Ionians of ancient history who developed a successful means of navigation by which they became the first to traverse the Mediterranean from western Greece to Italy. From the connection of these two great cultures, the beginnings of Western Civilization were to evolve.

The directors and officers of Ionian Arts are themselves engaged in church music. It is from this pool of experience that two fundamental policies have been established: (1) That music we publish be excellently crafted and offer something of value to the spiritual life of the greater Christian community; (2) That the texts of our publications be theologically acceptable and genuinely meritorious from a literary standpoint.

With these as basic precepts, we have attempted to publish works where we perceive there is the greatest need. We welcome your comments and suggestions on our publications.
